We also suggest you limit your carbon footprint during your stay. Here are some examples of concrete actions:
- come by train – we will pick you up at the TGV station Les Arcs-Draguignan (3 people)
- use the activities on site: swimming pool, park, summer kitchen, local walks, strolls in the village and its many activities
- rent e-bikes to explore the surrounding areas
- take a bus to the beaches and visit Grimaud, Saint-Tropez, etc.
- carpool with Jane, Alban and other guests
- rent a car for your long distance excursions – Gorges du Verdon, Aix-en-Provence, Nice, etc.

A haven of peace
Villa Fontane is ideally situated in the countryside ; a haven of peace just a few kilometres from the excitement of the French Riviera and Saint-Tropez. The wooded grounds are surrounded by majestic hills. Outdoor areas are available for you to relax in before and after your excursions: sunbathing at the swimming-pool, a shaded terrace or hammocks for a siesta, the garden and grounds for walks or a game of petanque and bicycles for a ride into the village.
Blue and Green Provence
The landscapes and sunlight here in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez are unique and attracted Impressionist painters exhiliarated by the colours. The coastline is wild, intense and there are many beaches and coves where you will feel far from the crowds. Inland is a green carpet of hills, forests and vineyards. Discover numerous paths and roads on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, motorbike or by car.
Drive into the hinterland and you will find the inspiration for artists Cezanne and Van Gogh who stayed in Aix-en-Provence, Arles, St Remy de Provence and Marseille.
