Alban and Jane are a French-Australian couple who will share, in English or French, their twenty-five years’ experience discovering the Gulf of St-Tropez and Provence – beauty spots, panoramic views, delicious affordable restaurants, bric-a-brac markets, artists’ studios, local wineries, magical excursions, walking paths for all levels, and more.
The location of the B&B, in the beautiful countryside dotted with vineyards and ancient little villages. The wonderful garden. The lovely pool. The comfortable room. But most of all : the truly genuine kindness of hosts Alban and Jane. They know the area so well, and give you the best advice on where to go and what to do. This area has so much to offer, you could spend 3 weeks there and there would still be things to discover. Marleen, BelgiumAugust 2020
We stayed in Villa Fontane Provence for 6 days and we loved it. Breakfast was exceptional - definitely a good start for a day! We will definitely be back 🙂 Lukasz, PolandSeptember 2020
The assistance with local information and the opportunity to share a special day together touring their homeland is a memory to be treasured. Combining the personal experience with the wonderland being created by Alban in these idyllic surrounds makes this little piece of La Garde-Freinet something which should be included to experience the true feeling of south of France history and heritage.July 2019
The hosts were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond. The rooms are lovely and the bathroom was huge. The pool is gorgeous with plenty of seating around it. Alban collects fresh croissants every morning for your breakfast. The villa is in the forest and all windows have mosquito screens. Julie from Great BritainJuly 2019
A good base for exploring original Provence landscaping and life style. Very happy to be their first Chinese guests.September 2019
The weather was great, the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The pool was great too. The village of La Garde-Freinet was fascinating to someone from the other side of the world, showing a different type of life. Longdistance Kiwi
Tastefully decorated room, en suite. Clean, comfortable. The park was a great discovery, safe and adventuresome for children. Collecting chestnuts! Friendly and relaxed, easy going, Alban and Jane contributed to a fantastic week in Provence. Catherine B.
A truly wonderful place to be. The guest house stands on its own and offers great privacy for longer stays. And the scenery is spectacular. Oh, and the hosts are lovely, lovely folk tooJuillet 2018
