This may well be the best time to visit our region. The crowds have thinned out, the sea is wonderfully warm and the sun shines gently on the rolling hills as the grape-harvest begins.
In La Garde Freinet the Chapelle Saint-Jean is holding an exhibition featuring a series of local artists from 4th to 28th September. The vibrant artistic community will show their prowess in painting, drawings, etchings, sculpture and photos.
The spectacular Voiles de Saint Tropez is spread over two weeks this year. Starting 26 September the gulf is filled with majestic sailing boats, with the Big Boats racing from 3 to 9 October.
The annual Chestnut Fair will fill the streets of the village from 18 to 25 October.
From 23 to 26 Octobre the traditional Grande Braderie of Saint Tropez sees all the shopkeepers turn the village into a street market with amazing bargains to be had – fashion, clothing, accessories and decoration all at rock bottom prices.
