Annual Chestnut Fair in La Garde Freinet Sunday 23rd October and 30thOctober
Come and join in the fun – there will be music in the streets and a variety of local products made from chestnuts are on sale.
It’s also an opportunity to visit the village of La Garde Freinet and try one of the restaurants, relax in a café terrace, browse around one of the many art galleries or take the short climb to the Fort Freinet for magnificent views from the Alps to the Mediterranean.
The Conservatoire du Patrimoine du Freinet organises guided walks “Marrons et Châtaigniers” and a chestnut biscuit making workshop at 10am – call 0494 430 857 to book .
