Professional photographer Cyril Breniere came to take some superb new photos of our bedrooms in the guesthouse. He has really done justice to the three bedrooms and their adjoining bathrooms . It was fascinating to see him work with his tripod and choosing which room to photograph according to the sun’s rays. It was a brilliantly sunny day, which I would have thought ideal, but he told me that it’s easier when the sky is cloudy – that doesn’t happen often around here!

Cyril is a photographer who moved to La Garde Freinet a couple of years ago now. He takes beautiful portraits of gorgeous young women as well as capturing the magical atmosphere in landscape photos of the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
We met Cyril through the local artist community of Assaga. This group of artists has organised a programme of workshops in the village and we are looking forward to participating once lockdown has finished and we can return to sociable activities.
